Cabaret Night is a showcase of MRSS Talent!  So, auditions are open to everyone grades eight to twelve.  If you have any talent at all, come on out to the Drama Room at lunch during Audition Week and show us what you got.  We've had "conventional" talent like singing, dancing and acting, but have also enjoyed acts more "out-of-the-box", even as crazy as synchronized burger eating!

Finale Cabaret Night Audition Week:
Open to all MRSS students! 

DATES: April 1 – 4, 2014

WHERE: MRSS Drama Room

WHEN: 11:20-1145 Please be there precisely at 11:20 to sign up! 

ADDITIONAL INFO: Your audition must be under 2 minutes long and must showcase exactly what your act will be at Cabaret Night.  For example, you must audition with the same song you will be singing should you make it into the show.  If you need any sort of backtrack, you must bring it on an iPod or music playing device!  Also, be sure to sign in with the Registration Manager as soon as you enter the Drama Room.  There will be a maximum of 15 auditions per day, so, if you don't get a chance to audition on a certain day, come back the next day and you will audition first!  All auditions will be recorded by video for reference, and may be used in a video at Cabaret Night or posted on this website: if you have a problem with your auditions being used for these purposes, please notify the Producer.

NOTE:  You may audition as many times as you want!  However,  at Cabaret Night you may only be a "performer" for a maximum of 2 ACTS.
*the Finale does not count as part of your 2 acts.
**Accompanying someone (on piano, guitar, etc.) does not count as one of your 2 acts.  

Finale Cabaret Night Callback Day:
Auditions by invitation only, audience welcome!

ADDITIONAL INFO: The purpose of your Callback Audition is to show your entire act.  Therefore, you can take as much time as you need to complete your act!  Please check the Drama Room door to see if you have been called back.  This information will also be sent to you via email.  If you cannot attend your callback audition, please notify the Producer immediately!   

So, come on out and have a great time!  Whether you want to audition, or just watch to see if your favourite acts get into the show, you're guaranteed to have some fun!
